The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for Ezhava community but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates belonging to Ezhava Community during the currency of the Ranked list published on 14.03.2017 for the post. (Category No. 08/2009, Gazette Date 29.01.2009)

5. Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment (From among candidates belonging to the Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava Community).

NOTE: Applications of candidates belonging to communities other than Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava will be summarily rejected. Individual communication regarding the rejection of their application will not be issued.

6. Age Limit : 20-44 [Only candidates born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.1997 (both dates included) are eligible to apply.

7. Qualifications

1. First Class Master's Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology from a recognised University after undergoing a regular course of study.

2. Five years experience in teaching as Lecturer in Government / Government aided or AICTE approved Polytechnic Colleges. Note : Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable.

In the absence of the above qualification, the following qualification will also be considered;

1 Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology or any other

qualification recognised by Government as equivalent there to with not less

than 60% marks in the qualifying examination.

2 8 (Eight) years experience in Engineering profession of which atleast

3(three) years should be teaching experience in the subject as Lecturer not

below Diploma Level in recognised/approved Institution.

Note : 1. Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable.

1. Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology obtained after undergoing a regular course of study for not less than 3 years with 60% marks in the qualifying examinations and a pass in section A and B of AMIE will be considered as equivalent to Degree in Engineering/Technology.
   
   
   1. In the case of First or Second Class Post Graduate Degree holders in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology, the prescribed 60% marks in the concerned branch for the basic degree will not be insisted upon.
      
      
   2. The total marks of all the Years/Semesters of the course in which University Examinations are conducted shall be taken into account in calculating the 60% marks.
2. Experience claimed by the candidates shall be the one gained after acquiring the basic qualification for the post
   
   
3. The veracity of the Experience Certificate will be subjected to scrutiny and those who issue or produce bogus certificate will be subjected to legal proceedings. The experience certificate obtained from private institutions shall be got countersigned by an authorised officer of the State/Central Government.

8. Mode of Submitting applications:

(a)

Candidates must register as per ONE TIME REGISTRATION with the Official website of Kerala Public Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their User-ID and Password. Candidates must click on the 'Apply now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for the post. The Photograph uploaded should be taken after 31/12/2010. Name of the candidate and the date of taking photograph should be printed at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements shall valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates shall take a printout of the application by clicking the link Registration Card in their profile. Candidates are responsible for the correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must ensure correctness of the information on their profile. They must quote User-Id for further communication with the Commission. Application submitted is provisional and cannot be deleted or altered after submission. The applications will be summarily rejected if non compliance with the notification is found in due course of processing. Documents to prove qualification, Experience, community, age etc have to be produced as and when called for.

(b)

If a Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, Admission Ticket for eligible candidates will be made available in their Profile for One Time Registration and the date of downloading will be included in the Examination Calendar. Candidates can download Admission Ticket for 15 days from this date. Candidates who have downloaded the Admission Ticket will alone be permitted to attend the Examination.

(c) Candidates who have AADHAAR Card should add AADHAAR Card as I.D. Proof in their profile.
