Appointment of Director, UGC IUC-TE, Kakinada

The University Grants Commission invites applications for the post of Director, Inter-University Centre for Teacher Education (IUC-TE), Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh in the pay scale of Rs.75,000/- along with a special allowance of Rs.5,000/- per month and other benefits as per the terms and conditions as applicable for the post of Vice-Chancellor of a Central University. The IUC-TE, Kakinada, is an autonomous body established under Section 12(ccc) of the UGC Act, 1956. The tenure of the post is for five years or till he / she attains the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier, to be filled up on deputation / contract basis.

The Director will be governed by the Memorandum of Association (MoA), Rules and Bye-laws of the IUC-TE. As the Director is the academic / executive authority of the IUC-TE, he / she should be an eminent academic with a vision and foresight to provide new directions in teacher education. Besides, he / she should have administrative and leadership acumen. The candidate should preferably be not more than 60 years of age.
