Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the following temporary project positions

1. DBT Project: Newton-Bhabha Virtual Centre on Nitrogen Efficiency of Whole Cropping Systems for Improved Performance and Resilience in Agriculture : 1 Junior Research Fellow

2. CSIR project Genomewide Role of G-protein Signaling in Arabidopsis GCR1-GPA1 Double Mutant 1 Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

The background information regarding the work of the PI is available at the website: http://ipu.ac.in/usbt/Dean.php . The lab and the NAAC A-grade University provide a challenging environment. Hostel admission is possible subject to availability and university rules. Interested candidates may attend the walk-in interview on 11 Jan 2017 at 10.00 AM in room No. A-205 of the School of Biotechnology at their own expense. The initial appointment shall be for a period of 1 year, extendible on yearly basis by the PI till June 2019 or the end of the project.

Post	Emoluments (Rs.)	Eligibility*	Specialisation	Experience
JRF*	25000 pm + HRA	Masters degree (fulltime) with consistently good academic record and preferably NET JRF/LS of UGC/CSIR/DBT/ICMR	Functional genomics, bioinformatics, plant molecular biology, agricultural genetics science background preferred	Research experience in relevant areas of molecular biology is desirable.
