Advertisement for recruitment by way of Walk-in-Interview for engagement of Senior Residents (for 11 months) and Junior Residents (06 months which may be extended up to 12 months) on contractual basis at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar for the July session 2017.

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for engagement of Senior /Junior Residents in various departments at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar for a contractual period in the prescribed format as per the terms & conditions given below:

Note: Reservation as applicable will be followed as per the Govt. of India Guidelines.

S.L No. 1	Name of the Post Essential Qualification	Senior Resident 1. A Postgraduate Medical degree viz. MD/MS/DNB/DM/M.Ch in their respective disciplines recognised by MCI /Institute of National Importance. 2. Candidates those completing the above courses by July, 2017 are also eligible to apply. They have to produce the pass certificate from the Institute at the time of Interview. 3. Candidates having DNB Degree have to produce pass certificate (both Theory & Practical from DNB Board) along with the application.	Junior Resident 1. MBBS from Institution recognised by MCI. The candidate must have completed compulsory internship and must produce internship completion certificate and registration under any state MCI. 2. Those candidates who have passed MBBS (including Internship) not earlier than two years before the start date of junior residency (Non Academic) will be preferred. 3. Those candidates who have already done two terms of Junior Residency anywhere will not be considered.
2	Age Criteria	1. For eligibility to apply for these posts, upper age limit will be 33 years. This is relaxable for SC/ST candidates upto a maximum period of five years, for OBC candidates upto a maximum period of three years. In case of Orthopaedics Physical Handicapped (OPH) candidates, age relaxation is upto maximum period of 5years for	1. For eligibility to apply for these posts, upper age limit will be 30 years. This is relaxable for SC/ST candidates upto a maximum period of five years, for OBC candidates upto a maximum period of three years. In case of Orthopaedics Physical Handicapped (OPH) candidates, age relaxation is upto maximum period of 5years for

	General Category, 8 years for OBC category and 10 years for SC/ST category candidates. Those who have finished 3 years Residency Scheme are not eligible. 2. For those applying for these posts after completing DM/M.Ch courses, the upper age limit as on last date of receipt of application will be 35 years. The age limit is further relaxable for SC/ST candidates, OBC candidates & OPH candidates will be as above. General Category, 8 years for OBC category and 10 years for SC/ST category candidates.
3	Emoluments Consolidated Monthly Rs. 66,000/-per month. Consolidated Monthly Salary Rs. 60,000/-per month.
4	Leave 2.5 days in a month 2.5 days in a month
5	Contract Period 11 months 06 months (Extendable upto 12 months)
6	Mode of Selection 1. Walk-in-interview is scheduled on dated 08th August, 2017 at the Directors Conference Hall, Administrative Building, AIIMS, Bhubaneswar from 11.00 A.M onwards. Candidates have to report in person on prescribed dates at 08.00 A.M. Candidates reporting after 10.00 A.M. will not be considered for interview. Based on the reporting, an interview will be conducted after verifying the application and requisite documents of the candidates from 11.00 AM onwards. The selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in the interview only held on the respective dates of walk-in-interview. 2. In case of exceptional candidates, the discretion of authorities to relax requisite eligibility criteria like age, experience etc. shall be final. 3. Depending on requirement, the Authorities may increase/ decrease the number of seats. 4. All candidates completing their qualifying eligibility criteria by 08th August, 2017 shall be eligible.
7	Application Fee General/OBC category Rs. 1000/-& SC/ST Category Rs. 800/-as applicable. No fees PH Category candidates.
8	Application Procedure	I. The application form for the above positions can be downloaded from the website www.aiimsbhubaneswar.edu.in . The candidate has to fill up the application form as per attached format at Annexure I and also bring the following documents in original at the time of walk-in-interview. (a) Duly filled in application from along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents. 9	Selection	1. The candidate can apply for more than one post out of enlisted
	Procedure	Departments.
		2. The merit list (selected and waiting list) for all categories i.e UR/OBC/SC/ST shall be prepared on the basis of personal interview.
		3. Any vacancy arising because of non-joining by selected candidates in this
		selection or by resignation of candidates, post will be offered to the candidates
		from waiting list according to the merit. All applicants must provide phone numbers and e-mail/fax number for faster communication.
		4. Qualification/Experience /Age/etc. will be counted as on last date of the
		application. 5. The final result will be displayed on the website i.e. www.
		aiimsbhubnaeswar.edu.in.

Terms and Conditions:

i)	Director AIIMS, Bhubaneswar reserves the right to cancel the advertisement at any point of time
	without prior notice or fill up less number of posts as advertised depending upon the institutional
	requirement.
ii)	The original certificates i.e. MBBS/ Internship Completion Certificate, Qualifying degrees (MBBS/
	DNB/ MD/ MS) Medical Registration Certificate, Date of Birth Certificate, Caste Certificate/ (OPH) etc.,
	of the candidates who opt/ select for the post of Senior / Junior Resident will be verified. If any
	candidate who joins the post and leave/ resign/ terminate before the completion of the tenure, he/
	she may do so by giving one months notice as per rules or by depositing pay and allowances with the
	Institute for the period of which notice period falls short of one month.
iii)	The engagement of Senior / Junior Resident will only be made on contractual basis for a period of
	eleven (11) months/ Six(6) months extendable up to 12 months respectively and it will not count
	any implicit or explicit rights for any liability to be discharged by the AIIMS, Bhubaneswar.
iv)	Candidates working in Govt. / Semi-Govt., PSU should bring NOC from their present employer.
	The in-services candidates will not be permitted for examination / interview, without No
	Objection Certificate from the employer. In this connection it is mentioned that as per the
	terms and conditions of Senior Residency Scheme that their engagement is to be regulated as
	per the CCS (Temporary Service Rules). As per rule 1(3) of the CCS (TSR) that these rules shall
	apply to all persons who hold a Civil Post including all civilians paid from defence service
	estimate under the Govt. of India, and who are under the rule making control of President, but

who dont hold a lien or suspended lien on any post under the Govt. of India or State Govt. The Schedule is as under:-
