Advertisement for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST-funded research project with following details: Title of the project: Effect of mechanically graded nano-fibrous scaffolds on cancer cell migration: Applications in anti-metastatic agent screening/testing (funded by the DST Inspire, New Delhi)

Name of the position: Junior Research Fellow (01 No)

Essential qualifications: MSc (Chemistry/Biochemistry/Medical Biochemistry/ Biotechnology) or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5 grade points on a scale of 10).

Desirable: Handson experience in Molecular Biology techniques such as RealTime PCR, Western blotting, ELISA, and animal cell culture and/or polymer chemistry. Candidates with CSIR/UGC JRF-NET/GATE will be preferred.

Age limit: 30 years

Salary: Rs. 15,000/- per month (consolidated)

Duration: Upto 11 months, extendable to 2 to 4 years based on performance review
