The eligible candidates are informed to attend Walk-in-interview for the following Teaching Associates / Research Associates positions purely on contract/temporary basis against the sanctioned vacant posts in Dr. YSR Horticultural University, Venkataramannagudem, West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh are given below.

Remuneration: 1. Consolidated Pay Rs. 30,000/- per month without HRA for those with M.Sc (Hort.) / M.Sc (Agri.) qualification.

2. Consolidated Pay Rs. 35,000/- per month without HRA for those with Ph.D qualification.

The pre page posts are to filled up on contract basis initially for a period of 11 months only and may be extended based on the performance (or) need of the institute (or) till the vacant posts are filled up on regular basis by recruitment.

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for Walk - in- Interview
Candidates appearing for interview need to bring duly filled in application form with pass port size photo and all original certificates for verification and one copy of attested certificates to be handed over for office use on interview date. Application form enclosed.

Qualifications for Teaching Associate / Research Associate in:

Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Bio-Chemistry, Genetics & Plant Breeding, Soil Science & Agril. Chemistry, Agricultural Extension.

i. A Bachelors degree in Horticulture/Agriculture.

ii. A Masters degree in the subject (discipline) concerned with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.

iii. Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subjects or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu.

iv.
NET qualification is desirable.
v.
The desirable qualification for the post of Assistant Professor / Teaching / Research Associate is 2 years experience in the Research / Teaching.

Agricultural Economics:

i. A Bachelors degree in Horticulture / Agriculture / CABM

ii. A Masters degree in Agricultural Economics with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.

iii. Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subjects or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu.

iv.
NET qualification is desirable.
v.
The desirable qualification for the post of Assistant Professor / Teaching / Research Associate is 2 years experience in the Research / Teaching.

Bio-Technology:

i. A Bachelors degree in Horticulture / Agriculture / Forestry.

ii. A Masters degree in the Plant Molecular Biology & Bio-Technology / Plant Biotechnology / Horticulture Biotechnology / Agriculture Biotechnology with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.

iii. Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subjects or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu.

iv.
NET qualification is desirable.
v.
The desirable qualification for the post of Assistant Professor / Teaching / Research Associate is 2 years experience in the Research / Teaching.

Live Stock Production:

i. A Bachelors degree in Veterinary Science.

ii. A Masters degree in the Dairy Production / Meat Animal Production / Poultry Production with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.

iii. Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subjects or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu.

iv.
NET qualification is desirable.
v.
The desirable qualification for the post of Assistant Professor / Teaching / Research Associate is 2 years experience in the Research / Teaching.

Microbiology:

i. A Bachelors degree in Horticulture / Agriculture / Forestry.

ii. A Masters degree in the Microbiology concerned with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.

iii. Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subjects or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu.

iv.
NET qualification is desirable.
v.
The desirable qualification for the post of Assistant Professor / Teaching / Research Associate is 2 years experience in the Research / Teaching.

Statistics & Mathematics:

i. A Masters degree in Statistics / Maths, M.Sc in Horticulture Statistics or M.Sc in Agricultural Statistics or M.Sc (Ag.) in Statistics with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.

ii. Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subjects or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu.

iii.
NET qualification is desirable.
v.
The desirable qualification for the post of Assistant Professor / Teaching / Research Associate is 2 years experience in the Research / Teaching.
