WALK-IN INTERVIEW

Eligible candidates are invited to attend WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on the following dates for various posts sanctioned under INCLEN Multicentric project entitled To develop Acute Respiratory Infection Treatment Units (ATUs) and assess their utility in improving healthcare and research in pneumonia related morbidity and mortality in India under Department of Paediatrics on the 5^th of October 2016 at 2.00 PM. The essential qualifications, experience, consolidated salary and service tenure are as under:

Project Name and Project ID	To develop Acute Respiratory Infection Treatment Units (ATUs) and assess their utility in improving healthcare and research in pneumonia related morbidity and mortality in India
Project Duration	Project duration is 2 years. Initial appointment will be on contract basis for 3 months and based on performance extended for further 3 months. Following this each contract period will be for 6 months and renewed till completion of project
Brief Description about the Project	Screening and management of under-five children with acute respiratory infection (ARI) attending Paediatric OPD and other services at AIIMS BBSR
Resource Requirement:	One

Education:	MBBS with three years experience after completing internship. Preference to those who have experience in paediatrics (MD paediatrics/DCH)
Experience	Experience with conducting community based Research with at least 2 years experience will be preferred
Key Skills	Good clinical skill in managing paediatric cases. Good knowledge about use of computer.
Job Title	Research Officer/Scientist
Location	AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, Odisha
Age limit (upper)	45 years
Proposed Salary	Salary: Rs 15600-39100+5400 (GP)+NPA+UA [This amounts to Rs 60,000/-(Rupees sixty three thousand five hundred and forty eight only)]
Core Responsibilities	-Perform good clinical examination of children with acute respiratory infections -Take complete responsibility for coordinating all field activities and report to the principal investigator. -Prepare reports for bimonthly appraisal. -Ensure quality of data collection and data entry
Specific Activities	-Liaison with District/sub-district Hospitals, PHCs, gram Panchayats, CHC and gather population data as per Census 2011 -Prepare manuals for training all the field staff -Visit project site, map the population and perform cluster random sampling

Education:	Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery (GNM) or equivalent and registered as NURSE or ANM with any State Nursing Council. Those who have secured First class (>60%) in the qualifying examination only should come for the interview.
Experience/Fresher	Minimum Experience: Fresher is acceptable but experienced candidates shall be preferred.

Terms and conditions

These are tenure vacancies under funded project and are not employment on AIIMS Bhubaneshwar pay roll. Employment will automatically terminate upon completion of the project and there is no liability for permanent employment on AIIMS, Bhubaneshwar or principal investigator. Also the candidates have no right to claim permanent employment based on this job.
Selected candidates have to do their duties as specified in paediatric department and may have to do follow up children at home/hospital whenever the necessity arises.
Selected candidates have to undergo training at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar and may be required to visit AIIMS New Delhi if necessity arises.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
