Office Assistant (IT)

Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) is looking for Office Assistant (IT) for its PGPX office to execute the IT specialized work in coordination with the Computer Centre.

Job Description:

Management of the content updates for websites
Management of the data for applications
Management of the various content types (emails, social media posts, blogs etc.)
Develop, maintain and test the application software. This includes admissions portal, feedback system and bidding software for electives & international immersion programme
Managing all the activities during the admission season which requires technical involvement. For e.g. announcements on the portal, loading required information/documents in the tablets for interview purposes, coordinating with server admin at computer center, etc.
Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary
Documentation of information and data
Develop in-house CRM and ensuring CRM data integrity and cleanliness
Extend the technical support during the webinars and admission interviews conducted over the video conferencing/Skype.
Assist other employees in the department for computer related tasks
Coordinate with Computer Centre staff for all kind of tasks
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager

Skills:

Strong knowledge of internet and computer application skills
Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office
Understanding knowledge of web technologies
Preferred experience using HTML or Content Management Systems (CMS)
Ability to work on multiple assignments
Must be a good communicator (written and verbal) and able to speak, read, write and understand the English language

Qualification, Experience & Skill Requirements:

The candidate should be BCA/MCA or related graduate/post graduate degree in the field of computer science (full time) with first class from any recognized university.
The candidate should have minimum three years of professional work experience.
A post graduate degree would be preferred.
The candidate should have excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) and interpersonal skills and multi-tasking abilities.
In depth knowledge of MS-Office (Excel, Access, Word, Power Point) and other computer-related tasks is essential.
The candidate should have excellent common sense, communication skill and positive aptitude.

Age: Maximum 30 years as on the last date of application.

Salary & Allowances:

Selected candidate will be offered a fixed term appointment initially for a period of three years on a consolidated monthly salary on CTC mode. The contract may be extended further as per the mutual convenience. During the contract period or after the successful completion of the contract, if the performance of the candidate is found very well and Institute is in need of such position, Institute may confirm the candidate in a suitable pay scale with or without further probation, depending on duration of earlier contract and performance.
