Applications are invited for the following posts on purely temporary basis for the following ICMR sanctioned projects:

1. The ICMR Diabetes Cohort Study

i. Post : Scientist C (Non-Medical) (One)

Essential Qualifications: 1st Class M.Sc.in Life Sciences + Ph.D in Biomedical subjects

Or

1st Class M.Sc. in Life Sciences with 4 years R&D experience

Or

2nd Class M.Sc + Ph.D + 4 years R&D experience

Desirable : Research experience in the field of Endocrinology / Diabetes.

Emoluments: Rs. 57660/- p.m.

ii. Post : Junior Research Fellow (One)

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. Life Sciences (55%) + ICMR/CSIR/DBT JRF qualified.

Emoluments: Rs. 32500/- p.m.

iii. Post : Lab Technician (One)

Essential Qualifications: 12th pass in Science subjects and two year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or one year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organization or two years field/ laboratory experience. B.Sc. treated as three years experience.

Emoluments: Rs. 18,000/- p.m.

iv. Post : Field Lab Attendant (Two)

Essential Qualifications: High School or equivalent from recognized Board.

Emoluments: Rs. 15,800/- p.m.

v. Post : Technician (One)

Essential Qualifications: High school or equivalent with one year experience in related field from a Government Institution or recognized institute or certificate of one year training in the relevant area.

Intermediate with science subjects shall be treated as equivalent to 2 years experience

Emoluments: Rs. 16,000/- p.m.

vi. Post : Data Entry Operator - Grade A (One)

Essential Qualifications: Intermediate or 12th pass from recognized Board. A speed test of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer

Emoluments: Rs. 17,000/- p.m.

2. To study the effect of structured long term Yoga intervention on biomarkers of stress, oxidative stress and inflammation in subjects with prediabetes.

i. Post : Lab Technician (One)

Essential Qualifications: 12th pass in Science subjects and two year diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or PMW or radiology/radiography or related subject or one year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organization or two years field/ laboratory experience. B.Sc. treated as three years experience.

Emoluments: Rs. 18,000/- p.m.

ii. Post : Lab Attendant (One)

Essential Qualifications: High School or equivalent from recognized Board.

Emoluments: Rs. 15,800/- p.m.

3. Registry of people with Diabetes in India with young age at Onset.

Post : Field Attendant (One)

Essential Qualifications: 10th from recognized Board.

Emoluments: Rs. 14,490/- p.m.

4. Study of polymorphism of genes associated with postprandial lipemia and their expression in adipose tissue in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

i. Post : Senior Research Fellow (One)

Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate in Life Sciences (Microbiology/Biotechnology / Zoology etc) / Bioinformatics/ Biophysics / Biochemistry with Two years Research Experience

Emoluments: Rs. 36400/- p.m.

ii. Post : Junior Research Fellow (One)

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. Life Sciences (55%) + ICMR/CSIR/DBT JRF qualified.

Emoluments: Rs. 32500/- p.m.

Appointment will be purely on temporary basis extendable up to duration of the project.

Age relaxation as per ICMR rules are applicable.
