10.	Business Studies	2	Essential: i) First Class Masters Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant management related discipline or first class in two year full time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / accredited by the AICTE / UGC; OR First Class graduate and professionally qualified Charted Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory bodies. ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in (i) and (ii) above, candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. Desirable: i) Teaching, research, industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization; ii) Papers presented at Conferences and / or published in refereed journals.
11.	Microbiology	1	i) Good Academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed) at Masters degree in Microbiology from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. iii) Candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET.

13.	English	1	i) Good Academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed) at Masters degree in English from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. iii) Candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET.
14.	International Relations	1	i) Good Academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed) at Masters degree in International Relations from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. iii) Candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET.

NOTE:-The Candidates who have already applied for the above said posts in response to Advertisement Notice Nos. 01 of 2014 dated: 03 -09-2014 and 01 of 2015 dated: 12-01-2015 are required to apply afresh through online mode, however they need not to pay the application fee of Rs. 800/-. Further, the candidates who have applied for the post of Assistant Professor Business Studies, in response to Advertisement Notice No 01 of 2013 dated 21-05-2013 are also required to apply afresh and are also exempted for paying requisite fee of Rs. 800/-. Those who fail to apply afresh will have no claim whatsoever for consideration for the post(s) applied earlier.

1. Non NET/SLET/SET candidates applying for the posts of Assistant Professor are required to submit a certificate from the concerned University to the effect that the Ph.D degree obtained by him/her is in compliance with the UGC (Minimum standards and procedure for awards of M.Phil/Ph.D degree) Regulation 2009. In case of failure to submit the said certificate and having not qualified NET/SLET/SET, they shall be declared ineligible for the post.
   
   
2. The candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor who were enrolled for Ph.D. before July 11, 2009 will be governed by the 4^thAmendment, UGC Regulations 2016, which is as under:
   
   

Provided further, the award of degree to candidates registered for M.Phil/Ph.D. programme prior to July

11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/Bylaws/Regulations of the Institutions awarding the degree and the Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:

(a)

Ph.D. degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only;

(b)

Evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examiners;

(c)

Open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate had been conducted;

(d)

Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of which at least one must be in a refereed journal;

(e)

Candidate has made at least two presentations in conferences/seminars, based on his/her Ph.D. work.

to (e) as above are to be certified by the Vice-Chancellor/Pro-Vice-Chancellor/Dean (Academic Affairs)/Dean (University instructions).

6. Candidates who have been awarded post graduate/Ph.D degree from Foreign University should enclose

Equivalence ertificate issued by !ssociation of Indian Universities (!IU), New Delhi without which their

candidature will not be considered and application form will be rejected.

1. Candidates are required to apply online through University website www.islamicuniversity.edu.in . No other means/ mode of application will be accepted. The fee of Rs. 800/-(Rupees eight hundred only) can be deposited in any of the branches of Jammu and Kashmir Bank against the auto-generated pay-in-slip with the application form.
   
   
2. NET/SLET/SET shall not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET ins not conducted.
   
   
3. The candidates in employment should forward their applications through their employer.
   
   
4. Hard copy of application form alongwith a Bank receipt of pay-in-slip (University Copy) complete in all respects duly supported by attested copies of certificates and testimonials should reach office of the Registrar by or before 10^th April, 2017. 1. The University shall verify the antecedents or documents submitted by a candidate at any time of appointment or during the tenure of the service. In case, it is detected that the documents submitted by the candidate are fake or the candidate has undesirable/ clandestine antecedents and has suppressed any information, then his/her service shall be terminated.
   
   
2. Candidates who had applied earlier and sent their bio-data/academic vitae to the Vice-Chancellor or any other authority of the University must apply afresh online by following the procedure.
   
   
3.
