Applications are invited from high caliber, enthusiastic and research-oriented students for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB-DST funded research project titled Characterizing the flexoelectric phenomena in monolayer/layered hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets and development of their nanoelectromechanical systems.

Essential Qualification: MTech/ME Degree in Solid Mechanics or Applied Mechanics or Design or Nanotechnology or Nanoscience

Desirables: Candidate having exposure to molecular and first principle modeling of solid nanomaterials as well as simulation works on boron- and carbon-based nanostructures are encouraged to apply.

Monthly Stipend: As per SERB-DST norm, i.e., approximately INR 25,000 + 20% HRA (if hostel accommodation is not provided).

Duration: Initial appointment for one year and extendable up to 3 years based on performance. Sincere and interested candidates will be encouraged to enroll for the PhD program at IIT Indore.

2. In two pages write-up, the candidate may write about his/her past research work, any relevant research project done by the candidate, his/her idea for future research or views on the above project based on the literature search etc.

3. CV should include complete information such as academic grades/percentage starting from Xth standard onwards with the details of year of passing, university or college, GATE score with year, discipline, marks, All India Rank, number of candidates appeared, contact details and a valid email id. Kindly mention the work experience in detail of related field. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

4. Only shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email for an interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. No communication with regard to selection process would be entertained.
