Qualification

Essential: Candidate should have first class in M.Tech. with B.Tech. in Civil Engineering ( In case class is not mentioned in the degree, 60 % or 7.0 CGPA will be considered as first class ):

M.Tech. in Water Resources Engineering / Hydrology / Hydraulics and Irrigation Engineering / Water Engineering and Management / Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geo informatics

Expertise in Softwares like Arc GIS, ERDAS Imagine, WMS are Preferred. Experience in Watershed Management activities is desirable.

Age

The upper age limit is 35 years at the time of appointment.

Fellowship

As per revised DST (SERB) Rules: Rs. 25,000/- per month (Consolidated) for initial one year, Rs. 28,000/- per month (Consolidated) for next year.

Nature and duration of post

The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The maximum duration of the ongoing project is of two years. The PI and Institute reserves the right to terminate the engagement of the JRF at any time, if the performance is not satisfactory.

Needs to carry out extensive field activities, plan and organise watershed related tasks in study area which is located in Andhra Pradesh.
