ADVERTISEMENT regarding VACANCY for the Position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST

Sponsored Research Project No. DST-SERB/(192)/2018-2019/568/ECE

Applications are invited for the position of JRF (one post) in DST sponsored project. The details are given below:

Project Title	Design and development of innovative MOSFET and some investigations on its novel properties for industrial deployment
Duration of the Project	The position is **purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, which is sanctioned for a period of THREE (3) YEARS.** Initially the appointment will be for one year and it will be extended till the duration of the project subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate.

Qualifications	The applicants should have consistent good academic record. The applicants should be M.E. / M.Tech. Degree in Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering / VLSI Design/ Microelectronics/ Nanotechnology with B.E. / B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering with GATE / NET score OR M.Sc. Degree in Electronics with NET score with minimum of first class from a reputed institute. Final year students passing out by June 2018 may also apply. Where class is not specified 65% marks or 7.0 OGPA will be considered as First class.
Age	The upper age limit is 30 years on the last date of filling the application (Age relaxation for SC/ST/PH/OBC as per GOI rules).
Fellowship	Rs. 25,000/- per month as per SERB/Institute rules for first 2 years. Rs. 28,000/- per month as per SERB/Institute rules for the 3rd year.
Prospect	Registration for PhD as per IIT(ISM), Dhanbad rules.

Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview.

Note:

Candidates shortlisted for interview should appear in person with originals of degree certificates (one set of Xeroxes), and date of birth proof along with other relevant information (like copies of publications, awards, recommendations, etc.).

No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.

All candidates should make their own arrangements for their stay at Dhanbad, if required.
