Regarding drawing the pay of the appointed candidate, as per Notification No. 7/204/2012-4FP1/66, Dated 15/01/2015 Govt. of Punjab Department of Finance (Finance Personnel-I Branch) Chandigarh and Notification No. 1/620164P.P.1/834680/1 dated 07/09/2016 Govt. of Punjab Department of Personnel (Personnel Policies-1 Branch), Chandigarh fixed emolument equal to Minimum of the Pay Band without any Grade Pay or any allowance will be paid during the probation period of three years. It is also clear that Annual increment or any other allowance except travelling allowance will not be paid during the probation period of three years.

4. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS :-

District Social Security officer	Master's degree in any of Social Science subjects viz Economics, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology from a recognized university or institution. Note: preference will be given to the persons, who have an experience of working in the field of Social Work.
Superintendent Home	Master's degree in any of Social Science subjects viz Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, or Anthropology from a recognized university or institution.
Manager Braille Press	Graduate from a recognized university or institution who have an experience of working in a supervisory capacity for a minimum period of three year.
Scientific Assistant (Teaching)	Should pass M.Sc degree in Physics, or Chemistry or Botany or Zoology or ,Bio Chemistry or Microbiology or Forensic Science, or its equivalent from recognised university
Archaeological Officer	1) M.A in second division in History OR Ancient Indian History, culture and Archaeology from a recognized university or institution. 2) Should have training in the field of Archaeology from the Archaeological Survey of India or State Archaeology or recognized institution, for a minimum period of two years and 3) Should have three years experience of Archaeological operations including conservation of Monuments after undergoing training as mentioned in clause (II) or i) Should be M.A in first Class or Ph.D in History, or Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archeology; and (ii) Should have training in the field of Archaeology from Archaeological Survey of India or State Archaeology or recognized institution, for a minimum period of two years.
Deputy Curator	1) M.A in second division in History OR Ancient Indian History, culture and Archaeology or History of Art or Anthropology from a recognized university or institution. 2) Should have training in the field of Archaeology or Museum from the Archaeological Survey of India or National Museum or State Archaeology or recognized institution, for a minimum period of two years and 3) Should have three years experience of Archaeological Monuments or Museum after undergoing training as mentioned in clause (II) or i) Should be M.A in first Class or Ph.D in History or Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archeology; and (ii) Should have training in the field of Archaeology or Museum from the Archaeological Survey of India or National Museum or State Archaeology or recognized institution, for a minimum period of two years.
Security Officer	From amongst the Ex-Serviceman who have held Commissioned rank in the Armed Forces of the Union for a minimum period of five years.( Junior Commissioned Officers of Indian Army or equivalent of Indian Air Force and Indian Navy are not eligible)

Note: Punjabi upto Matric standard or its equivalent is essential for all the above posts.

5. AGE Candidates should not be below 18 years and above 37 years of age as on 01-01-2018.(Few exceptions)

6. Competitive Examination The Commission shall hold a common Competitive Examination tentatively in April/May, 2018 for the above all the posts. Details of which can be seen in the 'General Information for the Candidates".
