National Highways Authority of India, a statutory body under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways with its Headquarter at New Delhi is a flagship infrastructure development body of Government of India, seeks dynamic, effective and experienced officers for filling up of one post of Member (Administration) in the (pre-revised) pay scale of Rs.67,000-79,0001-(6thCPC).

1. Expected duties of Member (Administration)

Adequate knowledge of Administration and Media Relations, Coordination, Corridor Management, Commercial Operations, Land Acquisition & Estate Management, Environment and Resettlement & Rehabilitation, Information Systems and Planning, Parliament Matters, Legal and Arbitration matters & Appellate Authority under Right to

Information Act, 2005.

2. The qualifications and experiences required for the post of Member (Administration) are asfollows:-

Apersonshallnotbequalified forappointment asaMember(Administration) unlesshe is

(i) a persons employed in the Central Government or a State Government or

Public Sector Undertaking or an Autonomous Body established under law for the time being in force; and

(ii) (a) holding a analogous post in the Higher Administrative Grade in the pre-revised payscaleofRs.67000-790001-(6thCPC);or

(b)

having at least three years' regular service in the Senior Administrative Grade of pay band-4 with pre-revised pay scale of Rs.374001--670001-plus grade pay of Rs.100001-(6th(PC); or

(c)

having at least twenty-five years' regular service in Group' A' posts in the pay band-3 with pre-revised pay scale of Rs.15600-391001-plus grade pay of Rs.54001-(6thCPC)and above out of which at least one-year regular service should be in the Senior Administrative Grade pay band-4 with pre-revised pay scale of Rs.37400-670001-plus grade pay of

Rs.100001-(6thCPC);and

(iii) has at least eighteen years, experience in the field of the Public Administration and Management.

3. Amembershallholdofficeassuchforatermofthreeyearsfromthedateon which he enters upon his office and shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further

terms of two years. No member shall hold office as such after he has attained the age of sixty-two years.
