Advertisement for the position of temporary JRF or SRF or RA

Applications are invited from the interested candidates for one temporary position of JRF or SRF or RA to work in a Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) sponsored project entitled Studies on the Transcriptional Regulation of lipF Promoter of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

Essential Qualifications	For JRF (Junior Research Fellow): Age limit: Upto 28 years BE/BTech or equivalent degree, with 60% marks and passing of NET/GATE test in Biotechnology, Life Sciences or allied subjects. For SRF (Senior Research Fellow): Age limit Upto 32 years (i) BE/BTech or equivalent degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences or allied subjects and at least two years of post- BE/BTech research experience, as evidenced from published papers in standard refereed journals; (ii) ME/MTech or equivalent degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences or allied subjects. For RA (Research Associate): Age limit: Upto 35 years Doctorate (Ph.D.) n Biotechnology, Life Sciences or allied subjects with at least one publication in SCI Journal.
Nature of work:	Molecular cloning, Mutagenesis & PCR Screening, Protein Biochemistry, Computational Biology, General Microbiological and Biochemical work
Duration	2 Years
Fellowship:	For JRF: Rs. 12,000/- pm and HRA (As per the institute rule) For SRF: Rs. 14,000/- pm and HRA (As per the institute rule) For RA: Rs. 36,000/- pm (Consolidated)
