Applications are invited for ONE position of Junior Research Fellow, in a research project entitled Spatial distribution of uranium and associated water quality parameters in groundwater /drinking water of Seven districts (East Singhbhum, Saraikela Kharsawan,West Singhbhum, Khunti, Simdega, Gumla, Latehar) of Jharkhand at Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur-831014, Jharkhand. The project is funded by Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. The fellowship is coterminous with the project for two years with emoluments of Rs. 25,000/- p.m. (fixed amount).

Qualifications: The applicant should have qualification M.Sc. (Chemistry / Environmental Science) / M.Tech. (Environmental Engineering). Candidates having GATE/NET qualification with interest to pursue Ph.D. will be preferred.
