General Information and Terms & Conditions

1. 1.	Principal Investigator	Dr. Nirmalendu Debnath Department of Civil Engineering National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar Assam-788010, India
2. 2.	Essential qualification	M.E. / M.Tech. or equivalent in Civil, Mechanical or any relevant discipline with a minimum CPI of 6.5 (on a 10 point scale) or equivalent (60% of marks). Those having specialization / expertise in areas like: vibration / modal testing or analysis / experimental vibration will be preferred.
3. 3.	Age limit	Not more than 30 years
4. 4.	Salary	As per recommendation of DST-SERB (Rs. 25,000 per month for initial 02 years and Rs. 28,000 per month thereafter).
5. 5.	Relaxation	Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD candidates as per Govt. of India Rules.

12. 12.	General Terms and Conditions	The position is temporary in nature.
