Advertisement for the Post of Research Fellow for a DRDO, New Delhi, Funded Research Project

A Walk in interview will be held on 08th June, 2018 at 10.00 am in the office of the Head, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Durgapur for the following position.

Title of Project: Development of Compliant Actuators with Mechanical Impedance Variability

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (One Post)

Minimum Qualification: M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering with B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum marks 6.5 CGPA or 60% in all level. Knowledge in the area of CAD/CAE, Multibody Dynamics, Robotics, mechatronics system integration and MATLAB is preferable.

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- pm. + HRA as per DRDO guidelines.

The selected candidate will be initially taken as JRF and will be paid a fellowship of Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA. The fellowship will be provided initially for a period of two years. Continuation of the fellowship is subject to satisfactory performance and review at the end of second year. Candidate recruited for JRF can take admission to pursue PhD under NIT Durgapur on clearance of all the institutional formalities.
