RECRUITMENT OF SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW UNDER NATIONAL SURVEILLANCE PROGRAMME FOR AQUATIC ANIMAL DISEASES (RGCA AS PARTNER ORGANIZATION) COORDINATED BY NBFGR, LUCKNOW AND FUNDED BY NFDB, HYDERABAD
A walk-in-interview will be held on 20.07.2017 at 10:00 hrs. at RGCA-HQ, Poompuhar Road, Karaimedu, Sirkali, Tamil Nadu for the following position purely on contractual basis under the NFDB-NSPAAD project. Eligible and desirous candidates fulfilling all the requirements may appear for the interview with duly filled in application giving full details of academic records and experience(s) along with attested photocopy as well as original copy of the relevant documents and a passport size photograph on the attached proforma. Essential: Master Degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Fisheries Science/ Aquaculture/Marine Biology/ Zoology/Life Science. Desirable: -Working experience in shrimp farms -Research experience in molecular biology techniques -Good skill in computer applications -Publications in relevant field |
Nature of Work: Work involves extensive field trips, disease surveillance, sample collection and investigations in shrimp aquaculture farms of coastal districts of Tamil Nadu, Odisha and in Andaman.
Terms & Conditions:
1. Above position is purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project or may be terminated earlier by the competent authority without assigning any reasons.
2. Age relaxation will be 05 years for SC/ST & 03 years for OBC candidates.
3. Only those candidates will be allowed to appear who have all the original certificates and their photocopies. Candidates who have final mark sheets but not their provisional or original certificates, will NOT be allowed to appear for interview.
4. Place of posting will be at RGCA, Sirkali, Tamil Nadu.
5. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in Interview.
6. All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of Interview for completing necessary formalities.
7. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
8. The Project Director's decision will be final and binding in all respects.
