Sub: Faculty Recruitment -On eontract basis in Commerce/ Economics/ Political Science in Inter University Centre for IPR Studies, CUSAT.

Application in the prescribed format is invited from qualified candidates for engagement to the post of Assistant Professor in IUCIPRS on contract basis on tenure track.

Number of vacancy: Assistant Professor -Commerce/ I _{fOpen] Economics/ Political Science}

Qualifieations: As prescribed by UGC

1. Masters Degree (Recognised by CUSAT) in Commerce/ Economics/ Political Science with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
   
   
2. Candidate must have cleared the NET conducted by the UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
   
   
3. Candidate who has been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET.
   
   

Scale ofpay 15,600-39,100 + 6,000 AGP

Other conditions The Assistant Professor on contract basis on tenure track for a maximum period of 5 years. The initial period of engagement is for one year which may be extended upto 5

years.
