Subject: Advertisement for the award of Junior Research Fellowship

Application is invited for the award of one position of JRF in the project entitled There is position of one Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in the DBT funded project entitled Pyramiding of Rust Resistance Genes into High Grain Quality Wheat Lines Developed Through Marker-assisted Selection funded by DBT, GOI on consolidated amount of Rs. 25,000/- per month on purely temporary basis. The JRF is under unreserved category. The fellowships would be initially awarded for six months but depending upon satisfactory performance it is extendible further. Applicants possessing the following qualifications should apply on plain paper on the prescribed proforma given as under to Dr. J.P. No separate interview letter will be issued and no TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

Qualification:

Essential: M.Sc.(Ag) Genetics & Plant Breeding/M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Genetics. NET certificate is essential for 3 year B.Sc. degree holder.

Desirable: Working knowledge on molecular markers.
