Walk in interview on 18th July 2016 at 10.30 A.M.

for the following Contractual positions mentioned below under the ISRO funded project of Forewarning of major crop pests on spatial scale for their integrated managements at ICAR-NCIPM, LBS, Building, Pusa Campus, New Delhi -110012.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Total Post : One (purely contractual)

Masters in Agricultural Entomology/ Plant Pathology /Environmental Sciences/ Earth Sciences or Zoology with specialisation in Entomology/ with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree. Candidates having Master degree in Basic Sciences (above relevant subjects) with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification.

Geospatial/Remote sensing and GIS experience

Emoluments: For SRF: Rs. 25,000/ month + 30% HRA

As per ICAR Order No. Agri. Edn.6/27/2014/HRD/Dated 13-07-2015 and dated 09-10-2015.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Age limit (as on 01.07.2016):

Age limit for Senior Research Fellow is 35 for Men and 40 years for Women.

2. The age is relax able for SC/ST and OBC candidates for both RAs & SRFs, is applicable as per

ICAR/Govt. of India norms.

3. The above positions will be filled up on contractual basis and are up to 31.03.2017 or co terminus with the project. The renewal of yearly contract is subjected to satisfactory performance/sanction obtain from the funding agency. The selected candidate(s) have no claim for regular appointment(s) after expiry of the Project at NCIPM/ICAR.

4. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview.

5. Candidates appearing for interview should compulsorily bring filled in application as per format annexed. Original Certificates of age proof, educational qualifications (from 10th class onwards), and documents in support of essential, and desirable qualifications / experience along with a set of self-attested photocopies along with the recent passport sized photograph should be brought.

6. Interview of the eligible candidates would be held at the premises of NCIPM on 18TH July 2016 at 10.30AM.

7. Candidate fulfilling the essential qualifications only need to attend the Walk in Interview.

8. Concealing of facts and canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification
