NOTICE

In persuance of Memo No. 675(3)A4GNREGA dt. 26106/2017 of the District Nodal Officer, NREGA/WBREGA, Nadia, regarding approval for engagement of Gram Rozgar Sevak, applications are hereby invited for the post of "GRAM ROZGAR SEVAK'purely on contractual basis for Tatla-II Gram Pancahyat under Chakdaha Development Block,Chakdaha,Nadia.

Gram Rozgar Sevak	01	18 years to below 35 years as on 01/01 /2017.The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 yrs. For S.C.& S.T candidates and by 3 yrs. For BCcandidates. No relaxation is applicable to SC, ST & BC candidates of other States as they shall be treated as General candidates

A. Educational Oualification:

1. Passed Higher Secondary or Equivalent Examination in Science Stream with at least 55 % marks having Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subject from any recognized Board/Council preferably West Bengal.
2.At least 06 (Six) months training certificate on computer application from any recognized institute.


B.Residential status :

Applicant must be a perrnanent resident of the concern Gram Pancahyat for which helshe will apply.

C.Documents to be produced at the time of submision of Application Form:

1.Self attested photocopies of Mark sheets and Certificates in support of educational Qualifications, Residential Certificate issued by the Gram Pancahayat Pradhan/MLA/MP ,Certificate of computer training etc.

2. Age proof certificate (Madhyamik Admit/certificate etc.)

3. One recent passport size colour photograph should be affix at the stipulated box of Application Form.

4. The envelope containing the application should be superscripted as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF GRAM ROZGAR SEVAK AT TATLA-II GRAM PANCAHAYT" & should be addressed to the Programme Officer & Block Development, Chakdaha Development Block , P.O. Kamalpur, P.S.- Chakdaha, Dist: Nadia, PIN : 741222 & should be dropped the same in a Drop Box at MGNREGA Cell of the undersigned withirt-office hours except Saturday, Sunday and specified holiday or should be send through registered post/speed post/ ordinary post.

D. Last date of submission of Application is 26/07/2017 up to 5:00 p.m. Any Application received after the.specified time will not be accepted. Delay of the postal authority will not be condoned.

E. Remuneration : The Gram Rozgar Sevak will paid a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 8000/-( Eight thousand) only after joining and entitled to get
Rs. 8500( Eight thousand five hundred) only after completion of training conducted by the State Authority.

F. Selection Procedure:

Block will share the list of eligible applicant(s) according to merit. Henceforth the Block Authority would instruct the eligible Candidate(s) to appear before him with all the original testimonials for verification on specified time (Should be notified on Notice Board of the undersigned). After completion of all formalities the Block Authority will prepare a final ranking mostly based on the percentage of marks obtained in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.

The candidate secured the first position in the ranking have to be provided with the first preference for the post of Gram Rozgar Sevak. If he/she does not appear between the specified time mentioned in the appointment letter, the candidate in second place should get the opportunity and the process will continue so on and so forth. The panel/merit list would remain valid for one year from the date of publication.

In case there is no such person available within the Gram Panchayat or there are candidate from boards outside the state of West Bengal the matter may be referred to the State Authority through the District Programme Coordinator for relaxation of criteria and other appropriate measures. Pradhan have to certiff that no eligible candidate was found in hisftrer locality.

G. General Information:

i) While applying, the applicant should ensure that helshe fulfills the eligibility & other norns & that
the particulars furnished by him/her correct in all respects.

IN CASE IT IS DETECTED AT ANY STAGE OF SELECTION TFIAT THE APPLICANT DOES NOT FULFILL ANY ELIGIBILITY NORMS AND/OR THAT HE/SHE HAS FURNISHED ANY INCORRECT/ FALSE INFORMATION OR FTAS SUPPRESSED ANY MATERIAL FACT(S), HIS/HER CANDIDATURE WILL BE CANCELLED.IF ANY OF THE SHORTCOMINGS IS/ARE DETECTED AFTER SELECTION, HIS/FIER ENGAGEMENT IS LIABLE TO BE TERMINATED WITHOUT ASSIGNING ANY REASON THEROF.

ii) Engagement of Gram Rozgar Sevak is purely on contractual basis for the period of 01(one) year which is likely to be extended on consent of both parties i.e. the Panchayat Pradhan in one hand and the Gram Rozgar Sevak on the other hand and this does not confer any right/privilege for regular appointment or continuity of service.

iii) Interested candidate shall be ready to work in remote /hard areas as and when directed and also may have to travel in remote /hard areas as required at their own cost.

iv) No TA/DA shall be payable for appearing in document verification process.

H. Invalid Application:

Applications which suffer from the following deficiencies will be rejected. The list is only illustrative and not exhaustive.

i) Application received after the closing date and time.
ii) Application not in prescribed format.
iii) Submission of incomplete Application.
iv) Submission of more than one Application by the same candidate.
v) Candidate is not in possession of the required educational qualification on the date of applying or is over age as on 01/01 /2017.
vi) Application without valid signature in the Application Form.
vii) Copies of required enclosures as mentioned above not enclosed.
viii)Any other irregularities found by the Selection committee.
