ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)/ PROPJECT FELLOW

Applications are invited for the post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Fellow in Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi (Autonomous Center of UGC, Govt. of India) Sponsored Research Project entitled Study of Swift Heavy Ion Induced Modifications of Oxide Based Nanocomposite Materials for Application in Gas Sensor.

Tenure: Initially for one year extended up to three years or till the end of the project.

Qualifications for Project Fellow: M.Sc. (Physics/Applied Physics/ Material Science with minimum 55% marks) (Note: Candidates with NET-GATE qualified will be preferred).

Fellowship: Rs. 14000/- (Consolidated) P.M. for Non-NET/ Non-GATE qualified students for first two years and Rs. 16,000/- (Consolidated) for 3rd year. NET/GATE qualified students for first two years Rs. 16,000 (Consolidated) & for 3rd year Rs. 18,000/- only as per UGC guidelines.

The candidate would be required to carry out experimental work at Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi, UGC-DAE-CSR, Kolkata and University School of Basic & Applied Sciences at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. The candidate would be encouraged to work for his/her Ph.D.
