Advertisement for Project Fellow

Applications are invited on plain paper along with detailed curriculum vitae from Indian nationals and highly motivated candidates for the following purely temporary position in Inter-University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi sponsored project (IUAC/XIII.3A/UFR-62315, dated August 11, 2017 entitled Tailoring the Thermoelectric Properties in SnTe Nanocrystalline Thin Film using Ion Irradiation. The details of position and minimum qualifications are as follows:

Number of Fellowship (Junior Research Fellow): 01

Duration of the project: 3 Years

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Physics preferably specialization in Solid State Physics or Materials Science with a minimum of 55% marks. Desirable: NET or GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.

Amount of fellowship: Rs. 16000 /- P.M. (consolidated) for candidates with NET and Rs. 14000 /- P.M. (consolidated) for candidates without NET will be paid.

Age limit: 28 years or below till last date application. The maximum age for JRF/Project Fellow position is 28 years, which may be relaxed to reserve category candidates as per the rules of Government of India.

General Terms and Conditions:

1. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The position is purely temporary for the said project period only. They could be terminated depending on the performance of the candidates without giving any prior notice.

2. Mere fulfilling the minimum qualifications will not entitle the candidate for being called for interview. The applications will be screened by a Committee and candidates found suitable will be called for interview. The decision of the selection committee will be final in this regards.

3. Any of the selected individuals may from time to time be assigned to perform any other duties commensurate with their qualifications.
