Subject: -Engagement of Consultant for a period of one year in Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

Statistical Cell of The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change intends to engage the services of a Consultant on full time basis for a period of one year, which can be extended further on year to year basis, subject to satisfactory performance. During the initial period of engagement, the Consultant would be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only). The engagement of the Consultant is of temporary in nature and can be terminated at any time within the period mentioned above without assigning any reason or prior notice and shall not bestow any claim or night for seeking regular employment in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. The Consultant will be eligible for 8 (eight) days leave in a calendar year on pro-rate basis. No remuneration shall be paid in case of absence beyond eight days in a calendar year (calculated on a pro-rate basis). The un-availed leave in a calendar year shall not be carried forward to next calendar year. No TA/DA shall be admissible for joining the assignment or on its completion. The Consultant will not be allowed foreign travel at Government expenses. However, he will be allowed TA/DA on Official travel, if any, (with the approval of competent authority) inside the country in connection with the performance of duties assigned to him/her as per Government Rules. The Consultant be attached to Statistical Cell/Director (Statistical) in the MOEF&CC who will also be the Controlling Officer.

The qualifications/experience required to perform the job of the Consultants are as under:-

Educational Qualifications: Graduate from a recognized University;
Knowledge of Computer:		MS	Window,			MS		Word,			MS			Excel,			MS	Power		Point,		MS	Access,
	Internet use and e-mail;
Experience:	Atleast five				years experience								of working in Union/State									Government
	Ministries/Departments									relating					to	noting,			drafting,		preparation			of
	sanction,			letters			to		various			organizations/agencies,										assisting		in
	examination of proposals received from organizations/ agencies.

The job further requires maintenance of records, typing on computer, electronic sanction, diary through File Tracking System (FTS), collection of materials from concerned organization, co-ordination with other divisions;

Age Limit: Preferably between 26-28 years on the date of applying for Consultant.
