A walk-n-interview will be held on 10^th May, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. onwards in

i the Department of Zoology, Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh, for selection of the following positions for the sub-project Quantitative assessment and mapping of the diversity of wild bees and honey bees of Northeast India of the Major research project Bioresource and Sustainable Livelihood in North East India, under the guidance of Dr. Hiren Gogoi, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Zoology, Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh, Mobile No-9957285547, Email: hirengogoi2007@yahoo.co.in.

Positions and Educational Qualification:

Junior Research Fellow. Two (02) posts. M.Sc.Zoology/Entomology/Life Sciences (with specialization in Zoology)] with minimum 55% marks. Candidates specialised in entomology and with CSIR-UGC NET will be preferred.

Research Associate. One (01) post: M.Sc. [Zoology/Entomology/Life Sciences (with specialization in Zoology)] with Ph.D. in relevant discipline. Expertise in bee taxonomy preferred.

i interview for the said posts along with an application in plain paper and with a set of copies of educational qualifications, certificate/mark sheets (class X onwards), age proof certificate, residential /nationality proof, research experience certificates, 2 (two) passport size photograph and report in the Department of Zoology, Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh. The candidates will also need to bring original documents.

Monthly Fellowship:

JRF:

For NET/GATE candidate: Rs. 25000/-+ 10% HRA per month for 02 years and Rs.28000/-+ 10% HRA in 3^rd year. For candidate without NET: Rs.14000/-+10% HRA per month.

Research Associate:

Rs. 38,000 + HRA 10% per month

Duration of the Project: 3 years. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for attending interview.
