WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

A walk-in-interview willbe held on 22.06.2017 at 11.30 A.M onwards in the Department of Zoology, Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills, Doimukh for selection of One Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and One Field Assistant (FA) against a DBT sponsored twining project entitled Attempt to domesticate and breed some native ornamental fishes of Arunachal Pradesh in captivity with emphasis on their sex reversal, immune stimulation and disease management using herbal extract for a period of three (03) years under the guidance of Prof. D. N. Das (dndas2011@gmail.com), Head, Department of Zoology, Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh

The details of qualification, emoluments are mentioned below.

1. One Junior Research Fellow (JRF/) Senior Research Fellow (SRF):

Qualification: Candidates with M.Sc, in Zoology/ Life Sciences (having special papers in fish and fisheries/ molecular biology/immunology/genetics), Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Aquaculture// Environmental Sciences (having back ground knowledge of fish molecular biology/environmental biotechnology / Fisheries biotechnology/ fish immunology/Reproductive biotechnology) with minimum of 55% marks or M.F.Sc., inaquaculture/biotechnology/genetics/immunology or M.Tech in aquatic biotechnology/ immunotechnology with 60% marks may apply. NET qualified or NET-JRF candidates willbe given preference for the post. The Candidates who already have served as JRF/NET-JRF can apply for SRF position.

Fellowship: For NET-JRF candidate: Rs. 25000/-+ 10% HRA per month for 02 years and Rs.28000/-+ 10% HRA inthe 3rd year.

For candidate without NET: Rs.12000/-+10% HRA per month for 02 years and Rs. 14000/-+10% HRA inthe 3rd year.

2. One Field Assistant (FA):

Qualification: Candidate with minimum qualification of Class Xth standard. Preference willbe given to the experienced candidate having exposure in collection, maintenance and transport of live wild fish species from mountain water bodies of the region.

Emoluments: Fixed remuneration @ Rs. 5000/-per month.

The Candidates must bring with them a duly filled in application form(latest CV) along with Original and a set of self attested copies of Mark sheets, certificates, experience certificate to be shown to the selection Committee members.

The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

No TA/ DA shallbe paid to the candidates for attending walk-in-interview.
