Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment to the post of Registrar.

DETAILS OF PAY, QUALIFICATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Pay Band : 37400-67000 with GP of Rs. 10,000/-

Minimum Qualifications:

1. i) Master's Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale'.
   
   
2. ii) At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.7000 and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration.
   
   

OR

Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education,

OR

15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

Age : Preferably not more than 57 years.

Age of Superannuation : 62 years.

Deputation : Candidates who are desirous to be considered for appointment on deputation basis may also apply.

GENERAL CONDITIONS/ INSTRUCTIONS.

1. 1. Candidates are required to apply online through University website www.islamicuniversity.edu.in . No other means/ mode of application will be accepted.
   
   
2. 2. The in-service candidates should forward their application forms in advance and later through their employer.
   
   
3. 3. The selected candidate shall be governed by the New Pension Scheme. However, this shall not apply in case of
   
   
4. i) Deputation.
   
   
5. ii) Employee (if any) of IUST, who is governed by Old Pension Scheme.
   
   
6. 4. Hard copy of the downloaded application form complete in all respects duly supported by attested copies of certificates and testimonials and detailed CV should reach office of the Registrar by or before 12th October, 2017 upto 3:00 pm. Applications received after the expiry of the due date and time will not be entertained.
   
   
7. 5. The University reserves the right to limit the number of candidates to be called for interview.
   
   
8. 6. Requirement of experience where-ever mentioned in this advertisement shall mean post-qualification experience only.
   
   
9. 7. Candidates will have to produce original documents relating to their qualification, experience etc. at the time of appearing in the interview.
   
   
10. 8. The University reserves the right to defer filling up of post advertised here-in above, without assigning any reason thereof.
    
    
11. 9.
