In continuation to University Notification No. 2017/03 (A) & (B) dated 01.08.2017, online applications are invited from eligible candidates for direct recruitment on regular basis for the following posts viz. Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor etc. which have been sanctioned by the Govt. in addition to earlier notification and where the number and category have been changed. Candidates applied earlier need not to apply again. However they may submit their updated resume or request with documents related with qualifications and in case of change of category, afresh application is to be submitted. PWD (Persons with Disabilities) Reservation is applicable as per direction of Commissioner of Disabilities, Jaipur (Rajasthan)and as per rules and regulations of Govt. of Rajasthan issued from time to time. In all above categories, Pay Scale shall be allowed after successful completion of Two Years probation / trainee period on fixed remuneration at such rates as may be prescribed by the State Government from time to time.

Candidates shall apply Online from University website www.mlsu.ac.in up to 10th March, 2018 and deposit the prescribed fee Rs. 1000/- for General (UR) and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/OBC/PH through CREDIT / DEBIT CARD, NET BANKING. Relaxation in fee for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates will be applicable for bonafied of the state of Rajasthan only. The hard copy of the application must be submitted to the Dy. Registrar (Recruitment), Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur up to 16th March,2018. After the last date, hard copy of application(s) shall not be entertained under any circumstances. University shall not be responsible for any postal delay. NOTE:

1. The appointment on all teaching posts shall be governed by the minimum eligibility and other conditions as prescribed by the UGC / AICTE / MHRD / PCI / BCI / Govt. of Rajasthan (wherever applicable) from time to time and as prescribed in the Mohanlal Sukhadia University Qualifications and Procedure for Selection & Appointment of Teaching & Other Academic Posts, 2017, which is available on University Website www.mlsu.ac.in

Candidates completed Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or the subsequent Regulations if notified by the UGC, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions. Further, the award of degrees to candidates registered for the M.Phil. / Ph.D Programme prior to July 11, 2009, registered or not in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Provisions/By laws/Regulations of the Institution awarding the degrees and the Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions: (a) Ph.D. degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only; (b) Evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examiners; (c) Candidate has published two research papers out of which at least one in a refereed journals out of his/her Ph.D. works; (d) The candidate has presented two papers in seminars/conferences out of his/her Ph.D. work ; and (e) Open Ph.D. viva-voce of the candidate had been conducted. Explanation : for (a) to (e) above, a certificate to this effect is to be issued by the Vice-Chancellor / Pro-Vice-Chancellor/ Dean and furnished by the applicant.

2. Reservation in cast category and PH category will be applicable as per Govt. of Rajasthan Rules & Regulations/Reservation for physically handicapped persons- One Physical handicapped (Blind) seat carried forward in Assistant Professor will be filled up, Candidate belong to outside Rajasthan under SC/ST/OBC category will be treated under General (UR) Category only. Bonafied of the state of Rajasthan will only be eligible for the reservation under the categories of SC/ST/OBC subject to eligibility and suitability of the candidate for the post. 3. The contributory Pension Plan/Scheme as notified by the Govt. of Rajasthan from time to time shall be applicable on these appointments. 4. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR TEACHING POSTS VARIOUS SUBJECTS AGAINST UNIVERSITY ADVERTISEMENT NO. MLSU/Rectt./2018/08 DATED: 06.02.2018 1. Notwithstanding anything contained in any rules, these appointments shall be made as probationer trainee for a period of 2 years and during the period of probation / trainee period he/she will be paid fixed remuneration at such rates as may prescribed by the State Government of Rajasthan from time to time. After successful completion of probation / trainee period, he/she will be allowed minimum pay in the scale of the post and the period of probation / trainee period shall not count for grant of annual grade increments(s). The pay protection etc. will be governed as per University / Government of Rajasthan rules / directions issued from time to time. 2. Number of post(s) may be increased or decreased without any notice and Roster for any post can be modified as per rules 3. The University reserves the right not to fill up Post(s) advertised. 4. Application received on plain paper / after expiry of last date for what so reason or incomplete applications will be rejected without making any reference. 5. Candidate desirous to apply for more than one post should submit separate online application for each post. 6. Candidate(s) already in service should apply through proper channel failing which application shall not be considered. 7. Candidate(s) shall be considered belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH should indicate their category along with the copy of the certificate issued by the competent authority. OBC certificate should not be more than Six month old. 8. Mere applying for the post does not entitle the candidate to be called for interview. The candidates to be called for interview may be shortlisted on the basis of screening test or on merit calculated based on academic weightage and if, number of applications are much higher, than University may hold written examination for short listing the candidates in the ratio of 1:10. The examination for the screening test is proposed to be held on 18-03-2018. 9. The binding of the children on prescribed date as notified by the Govt. of Rajasthan from time to time shall be applicable. 10. Unmarried/Married Certificate/Affidavit must be enclosed with the application form. 11. Every page of the application and annexure including API Score as well as certificates must be self attested. 12. Candidate must fulfill the required minimum qualifications up to the last date of submission Online application. 13.
