NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, an institution of eminence invites applications for the following regular positions:
1. Professor (General Management: 1 position)
2. Associate Professors (Marketing Management: 1 position, Financial Management: 1 position)
3. Assistant Professors (HRM: 2 positions, Business Analytics: 1 position, Financial Management: 1 position, Operations Management: 1 position)
4. Placement Officer (1 position)
Salary and benefits will be as per UGC norms. Preference would be given to the candidates having strong research publications, degrees from reputed foreign universities and experience of teaching at National Law Universities / IITs/IIMs.

REGISTRAR
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Professor (Management)
a) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/ relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers in peer reviewed tiered journals.
b) A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience out of which at least 5 years should be in the cadre of Associate Professor in university/college, and / or experience in research at the University/ National level institutions / industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
c) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula & courses, and proficient in technology-mediated teaching learning process.
OR
An outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevant field, and has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline (subject to substantiation).
Candidates with Degrees from IIMs / IITs / National Law Universities or reputed foreign institutions or chartered accountants with Ph.D who have teaching experience of IIMs / IITs / National Law Universities would be preferred.
Associate Professor (Management)
- a) Ph.D degree or a fellowship of IIMs, ICA or ICWA or other institutions recognized by AICTE, with First Class Masters degree in Business Management/ Administration/ other relevant management relevant disciplines/ PGDBM/ PGDM programmes
- b) Minimum 5 years experience in Teaching/ Industry/ Research Profession with at least 2 years teaching post PhD is desirable.
Candidates with Degrees from IIMs / IITs / National Law Universities or reputed foreign institutions or chartered accountants who have teaching experience of IIMs / IITs / National Law Universities with strong research publications in peer reviewed tiered journals would be preferred.
Assistant Professor (Management)
- a) First Class in Masters Degree in Business Management/ Administration/ other relevant management related disciplines/ PGDBM/ PGDM
- b) Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
Candidates with Degrees from IIMs / IITs / National Law Universities or reputed foreign institutions or chartered accountants who have teaching experience of IIMs / IITs / National Law Universities with strong research publications in peer reviewed tiered journals would be preferred.
Placement Officer
- a) First Class in Masters Degree in Business Management/ Administration/ other relevant management related disciplines/ PGDBM/ PGDM
Candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role at management institutes/ business schools would be preferred.
APPLICATION FEE:
An application fee of Rs. 1,000/- shall be paid by way of demand draft drawn in favour of Registrar, NALSAR University of Law payable at Hyderabad and should be attached alongwith the application form. Application fee will not be refundable.
Applications duly filled with a Bank Demand Draft for Rs.1,000/- should reach latest by April 20, 2017.
Note: Candidates applying for more than one post should make a separate application for each such post along with the fee prescribed.

HOW TO APPLY:
Candidates should apply in the prescribed application form which can be downloaded from the University website www.nalsar.ac.in along with detailed bio-data and application fee and the same should be sent to the Registrar, NALSAR University of Law, Justice City, Shameerpet, R.R. Dist. 500 101 Telangana.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
- 1. The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum and the mere fact that a candidate possesses the same will not entitle him / her for being called for interview. The University reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed; or by any other condition that it may deem fit. Those who are possessing higher qualifications will be given preference while short-listing the candidates. The University may constitute a Screening Committee to scrutinize the applications and short-list the candidates. Call letters for test / interview will be sent only to the short-listed candidates and no correspondence will be made with applicants who are not short-listed.
- 2. It would be open to the University to consider the names of suitable persons who may not have applied, but recommended by experts in their respective fields.
- 3. The University will have the right to relax any of the qualifications, experience etc.
- 4. The University may offer lower post to a candidate who may have applied for a higher post in case suitable candidates are not available for the advertised posts. The university may offer long term contract instead of regular position in case suitable candidates are not found.
- 5. Canvassing in any form on behalf of any candidate will disqualify such a candidate.
- 6. The Selection Committee may decide its own method of evaluating the performance of the candidates in interview. The University may utilize written test / skill test or seminar / colloquium / mock class as method of selection.
- 7. Incomplete applications in any respect shall not be considered at all.
- 8. No interim queries regarding test / interview / selection will be entertained.
- 9. University reserves the right not to fill any of the vacancies advertised, if the circumstances so warrant.
- 10. University will not be responsible for any postal delay at any stage.
- 11. In case of any disputes / suits or legal proceedings against the University, the Jurisdiction shall be restricted to the Courts in Hyderabad, which is the Headquarters of the University.
