GENERAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE

Applications are invited in the prescribed form available online on Shivaji University website www.unishivaji.ac.in (URL www.unishivaji.ac.in/recruitments) for the following teaching equivalent posts to be filled in the University Departments at Kolhapur under General Recruitment Drive as per provisions under Section 76 of M. U. Act, 1994.

Interested candidates may apply online on or before 12/06/2016.

Last date for submission of final printout of application form is 24/06/2016 up to 6.00 p.m. in the University office.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Employed candidates must submit their applications through proper channel

2. Candidates, who wish to appear for more than one post, should submit separate application for each post.

3. Reservation of woman / persons with disabilities will be decided by the University authorities as per G.R. No. MISC /2001/(148)/Vishi-4,dtd.19/12/2001 and No. MISC /1003/ (03/2004)/EST-2, dtd. 26/5/2004 respectively.

4. The candidate must submit declaration in prescribed Form A, along with the application form as per rule 4 of having small family as per the directives issued by Government of Maharashtra. Form A is available with the application form.

5. University reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all posts advertised.

6. The prescribed online application forms are available on the university website www.unishivaji.ac.in under the tab Recruitment at University which have to fill online and print-out on A4 size papers, in 06 copies with necessary attested documents and Demand Draft drawn in the name of the Finance and Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur payable at Kolhapur OR Cash Receipt of University of Rs. 300/- for open post and Rs. 150/- for reserved post should accompany the application form. Form other than online form and forms without Demand Draft/ Cash Receipt will not be considered for further process of recruitment.

7. Final printout of online application form alongwith the attested copies of relevant documents enclosed to each copy of the application should be sent to the Registrar, Shivaji University, Vidyanagar, Kolhapur 416 004 so as to reach on or before 24/06/2016. Envelop containing duly filled application form should be superscript with Name of the Post applied: -----------.

8. Applications received after the last date will not be considered. The University will not be responsible for postal delay, if any.

9. All updates, corrigendum (if any), time to time instructions regarding this recruitment drive will be updated on Shivaji University website only; hence, applicants are advised to visit University website for further updates, if any. 10. If woman candidates are not available, the posts will be filled in from male candidates of respective categories.

11. Incomplete application and application on plain paper or Xerox copies of prescribed application forms will not be entertained. Application other than web based online method will not consider.

QUALIFICATIONS -

Post UNIVERSITY ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN (Post Code No. 02/16 18)

i. A Masters Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.

ii. Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.

i. However, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph. D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulations 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of University Assistant Director of Physical Education/ College Director of Physical Education & Sports.

Post Sports Coach (Post Code No. 02/16 19)

i. A Masters Degree in Physical Education or Masters Degree in Sports Science with at least 55 % marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed ) with consistently good academic record.

ii. Record of having represented the University / college at the Inter University / inter-colleges competitions or the State and / national championships.

iii. Qualifying in the national level eligibility test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.

iv. Passed the physical fitness test conducted in accordance with these Regulations.

v. However, candidates who have been awarded Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D.), Regulations 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of University Assistant Director of Physical Education / College Director of Physical Education & Sports.
