Applications are invited for one (1) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and one (1) Field/Lab Assistant (FLA) under Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India sponsored research project entitled Biodiversity assessment of wild silk moths and rearing potentialities of muga (Antheraea assamensis Helfer) and eri silkworm (Samiaricini Donovan) for sustainable development in Nagaland.

Minimum Qualification:

a) Junior Research Fellow (JRF): M.Sc. in Zoology/Life Sciences/Sericulture/Entomology/Agricultural Entomology/Biotechnology or any professional degree in allied subject.

b) Field/Lab Assistant: Minimum Higher Secondary pass in Science

Emolument:

a) JRF: As per DBT norms (revised DST OM SR/S9/Z-09/2012, dated 21-10-2014).

b) Field/Lab Assistant: Rs.8,000 per month

Project duration: Three years (Co- terminus with the project duration).

No TA/DA is permissible for attending the interview. The project will involve extensive survey and field work in different districts of Nagaland during the project period.
