Job Description

The incumbent must have an experience of about 8 - 15 years of working on large scale construction sites, preferably heavy institutional / high rise commercial buildings. He should have an in depth knowledge of site activities, specifications of jobs, detail mode of measurements, coding knowledge, billings, drawings study and control, auto cad working, MS Office tools, Project Management tools (MS Project).

Typical responsibilities in addition will also include: agreeing project objectives, organizing various professional people working on a project, carrying out risk assessment, making sure that all the aims of the project are met, making sure the quality standards are met, using IT systems to keep track of people and progress, monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained, overseeing the accounting, costing and billing, etc.

The ideal candidate is a BE / B. Tech Civil with experience of about 8 to 15 years of working in large scale civil construction projects, mainly building, and more specifically high-rise. He should be able to lead a team well and be result oriented. He should have knowledge of using softwares to manage complex projects.
