Notice Inviting English Translators

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for hiring of English Translators for the UGC SAP-DRS-1 project in the Department of Instrumental Music, Rabindra Bharati University, The Application Form will be available for downloading from the University website on and from 06/09/17 to 21/09/17.

Eligibility criteria : (1) M.A.in English with minimum 55% marks

(ii) The applicant should send an English Approximate Translation of one of the anecdotes available at the site www.kolkatamusic maping.com along with the note of interest in getting hired for this work.

Number of Translators to be hired: upto 04

Scope of work : Approximate Translation from audio in Bengali and Hindi available at the website www.kolkatamusicmaping.com to English . Most of the available audios at the aforesaid site are in Bengali. All the translated texts will be required to be submitted through email at do@rbu.ac.in along with hardcopy of the same.

Honorarium : Rs. 250/- per thousand words in the output file.

The eligible candidates will be called for interview.

The willing candidates will have to submit duly filled in application Forms alongwith self attested copies of Marksheets, certificates etc. at the Development Office of the university, 56 A, B.T.Road, Kolkata-700050 within 5 : p.m of 22.9.2017 positively.
