Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of 02(two) full-time Assistant Professors (one in V.I. and one in H.I.) for the Deptt. of Disability Studies purely on contractual and temporary basis. Prescribed Application Forms to be downloaded from our website www.rbu.ac.in from 06.08.2016 to 22.08.2016 and the filled-in Form to be submitted to the Establishment Section of the above address in person on all working days (except Saturdays, Sundays and other University holidays) along with a payment of Rs. 300/- (Rs. 150/- in case of SC/ST) payable in Demand Draft in favour of RABINDRA BHARATI UNIVERSITY within 22/08/2016. The applicants are requested to submit the duly filled-in application form along with requisite testimonials, Demand Draft, certificates and 6(six) copies of application form [Application form + six photo copies of application form and one copy each of all mark sheets, certificates, age proof and other testimonials (1 set)].

Qualifications for the said posts are given below:-

A) Essential Qualification:

1. Masters Degree in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks (as per the RCI norms and UGC Regulations, Gazette dt. September 18, 2010 section 1.1.1)

2. M.Ed. Degree in specific disability area with not less than 55% of marks or an equivalent grade of B+ in 10- point scale of UGC.

Or

An equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI.

3. Valid Registration with RCI, u/s 19 of RCI Act, 1992 is essential.

B) Desirable Qualification:

1. M.Phil/Ph.D in Special Education or Education with research emphasis on Special Education.

2. Experience for a period of at least 2 years as teacher or researcher in the area of specific disability.

Specialisation: One in V.I. and one in H.I. as per RCI norms.

Pay : Rs. 27,600/- (fixed) for both the posts.

Age : Not more than 55 years as on 01.08.2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit may be considered in case of exceptionally qualified candidates.

Fulfillment of minimum qualifications does not guarantee a call for interview. The University reserves the right to decide the number of candidates to be called for interview for a particular post. Incomplete applications are liable to be cancelled.
