Advertisement for Research Associate The CoHaB IDC, University of Mumbai, is looking for 1 (one) Full Time/Part Time Research Associate to be employed from July 2016 for a period of one year. The Research Associate should have the following basic qualifications, special skills and competence:

1. Basic Qualification: M.A. in English Literature with special papers in Diaspora Studies and at least 55% or B+ grade (50% or B grade for SC/ST candidates) overall percentage/grade. The candidate should preferably be registered for an M.Phil./ Ph.D.degree in English with specialisation in Diaspora Studies.

2. Special skills/competence:

a. Excellent competence in spoken and written English b. Basic computer and accounting skills Job Profile: The selected candidate should be able to conduct/organize workshops in diaspora studies, organize film shows and conduct discussions on them, take care of the CoHaB IDC library, do basic accounting and correspondence for the centre and generally assist the Director in the running of the centre. The monthly salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the applicant.
