Educational Qualification :-Assistant Professor:

a. Foundation Courses

1. A Masters Degree in Sciences/Humanities/Arts with 50% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)
   
   
2. M. Ed with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed), and
   
   
3. Any other stipulation prescribed by the UGC/any such affiliating body/ State Government, from time t time for the positions of Principal and lecturers, shall be mandatory
   
   

OR

1. M. A. in Education with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)
   
   
2. B. Ed with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed), and
   
   
3. Any other stipulation prescribed by the UGC/any such affiliating body/ State Government, from time t time for the positions of Principal and lecturers, shall be mandatory
   
   

b. Methodology Courses

1. A Masters Degree in Subject with 50% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)
   
   
2. M. Ed with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed), and

Provided that at least one lecturer should have specializations in ICT and another in the special education

Scales and Allowances:-

As Per UGC and Maharashtra Govt. SRTM University, Nanded Rules. Assistant Professor: -15600-39100+AGP-Rs.6000/1 .Prescribed application form is available on the University Website (www.srtmun.ac)

1. No T.A./D.A. will be paid to Candidates to attend the interview.
   
   
2. S.C./S.T. Candidates are eligible to apply even if they have 50% mark only at PG level degree
   
   
3. 3% reservation for handicapped and 30% for women candidate .
   
   
4. Ph.D. candidates who were awarded degrees prior to Dr.19 sep..1991 are eligible even if they have 50% marks at P.G. level.
