ADVERTISEMENT NO. 15/2017 (Applications invited for Guest Faculties)

Tezpur University is going to empanel eligible candidates for consideration of engagement as Guest Faculties for the Department of Commerce to be invited as per the UGC guidelines with following details. The appointment will be need-based for the Department.

Essential qualification Details of Interview

(i)

Good academic record (as stated at NOTE below) with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade on a point based scale'wherever grading system is followed at the Master's Degree level in Commerce from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

(ii)

Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET / SET.

(iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii), candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award ofPh.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be

c Honorarium: Appointed Guest Faculties will be paid Rs, 1,000/-per lecture subject to a maximum of Rs. 25,000/-per month. No other allowances, etc. will be admissible.

Candidate who does not register his 1 her name by the aforesaid date shall not be considered. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the above qualification and experience, if any, will be called for a Personal Interview. Such shortlisted candidates shall appear before the Selection Committee with all testimonials in origin. The candidates will also be required to submit a signed copy of the detailed biodatalCV as stated above and a set of self-attested photocopies of all the supporting documents at the time of interview.

Head, Department of Commerce may also place CVs of interested industry people 1 professionals in the Selection Committee for consideration of empanelment in-absentia.

No TAlDA will be admissible for"appearing in the walk-in-interview.
