Tezpur University is looking for Assistant Professors (02 Nos.) for the Department of Computer Science & Engineering on contract basis initially for eleven (11) months as per the following details.

Essential qualification Date 1 Time 1 Venue oflnterview First Class Master's Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering & Technology.

Notwithstanding the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable: 26-02-2018 i) Teaching, research, industrial and 1 or professional experience in a reputed organization; (Monday) ii) Papers presented at Conferences and 1 or published in refereed journals.

10.00 AM onwards

Desirable: Ph.D. degree

Department of NOTE: As per Board of Management's Resolution issued vide Memo No.F.13-Computer Science & 1/97 (GA-I) (Vol-III)/2733-A Dt. 05.10.2016, Good Academic Record is defined as: Engineering,

i) First Class 1 Division both in 10^th and 10+2. ^{Tezpur University} ii) First Class in first degree. iii) First Class in B.Tech. 1 B. E. degree and M. Tech. 1 M.E. degree.

Pay: Rs. 50,000/-(fixed) Per Month.

The candidates will also be required to submit a signed copy of the detailed biodata/CV as stated above and a set of self-attested photocopies of all the supporting documents at the time of interview.

If a large number of candidates register for the interview by the last date as stated above, then candidates shortlisted on the basis of academic qualifications and experience, if any, will be called for the interview through e-mail (latest by 24/02/2018). A notice for such applicants shall also be uploaded in the University website by 24/02/2018. In absence of such a notice, all candidates who register their names by 23 102/2018 may appear for the walk-ininterview on the scheduled date and time.
