~ Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET I SET.

~ Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii), candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the rrunimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities I Colleges I Institutions.

~ PIt.D. degree is desirable.

NOTE: A) As per Board of Management's Resolution issued vide Memo No.F.13-1/97 (GA-I) (Vol-III)/2733-A Dt. 05.10.2016, Good Academic Record is defined as

i) First Class / Division both in 10^th and 10+2. ii) First Class in first degree. iii) 55% in Master's degree.

B) For Guest Faculties, a panel of recommended candidates will be prepared and appointments purely on contract basis will be made in order of merit as per requirement. The panel will be valid for two semesters.
