Only the candidate having disability of 40% or more and up to 75% of OL, BL, OAL, LV & HH MODERATE Type can apply for the post.
(I) A second class Post Graduate degree with Social Work or Rural Study or Rural Management or Sociology or a second class Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the U.G.C. Act, 1956; or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government; and-
have about three years experience on the post not below the rank of Assistsnt Social Welfare Officer, Class-III in the subordinate Service of the Directorate of Developing Castes welfare Gujarat State or

have about three years experience in Government or local bodies or Government undertaking Board or Corporation or Limited Company established under the Companies Act,2013 or in the institution or Non Government Organisation working in the field of social work on the post of Welfare Assistant or Officer which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Assistsnt Social Welfare Officer, Class-III in the subordinate service of the Directorate of Developing Caste Welfare ,Gujarat State or

(iv) Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967

Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
Pay Scale: - As per sixth pay commission Rs 15,600-39,100 Grade Pay 5,400/-, Pay Matrix level-10 Minimum Pay Rs.56,100 As per seventh pay commission
Age: - not more than 40 years. Age will be calculated as on the last date of the receipt of application.
Upper Age limit shall be relaxed as under:

Woman Candidates belonging to ST Category
10 Years Subject to maximum 45 years.

Ex Serviceman, including E.C.O. / S.S.C.O.
Length of Military Service plus 03 years subject to the maximum 40 years.

Physically Disabled : Physically Disabled Candidates, as shown above shall get ten years relaxation
in age limit subject to his/her ability to discharge duties attached to the post, as any other normal
person, on the production of medical certificate issued by the Superintendent/Civil Surgeon. prescribed vide
G.A.D. Circular dt.01/12/08

A candidate who is already in Gujarat Govt. service, either as a permanent or a temporary officiating continuously for six months and had not crossed age limit prescribed for the advertised post at the time of his
first appointment.
(i) The upper age limit shall not apply.
