Applications are invited for walk-in interview for the post of one Research Assistant and one Research Associate at the rate of INR 10,000 [ten thousand only] and INR15,000 [fifteen thousand only] per month respectively for a period of four months starting from November 01, 2017 to work under a project entitled Hydropower Development in the context of Climate Change: Exploring conflicts and fostering cooperation across scales and boundaries in the Eastern Himalayas.

The post is purely temporary in nature. Minimum qualification required for Research Assistant is Post Graduate and for Research Associate is MPhil from UGC recognized University in any discipline of Social Sciences preferably Geography. The potential candidate should have sound knowledge of MS office, willingness to travel & conduct fieldworks and be able to speak in Nepali language.

Desirous candidates may appear for walk-in interview along with clearly written one page statement of purpose/motivation, complete bio-data and supporting documents on October 12, 2017 (Thursday) from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm in the Department of Geography, Indira-Bypass, Gangtok.
