ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN ARCHITECTURE

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is a fully residential University set up on the pattern of IITs and is recognized by UGC u/s 2(f) & 12(B) as State University. The University requires qualified and experienced candidates purely on temporary & contractual basis for the post of Assistant Professor (as per CoA norms) at Department of Architecture & Landscape Design:

Eligibility :

A. Educational Qualifications

First class Bachelors Degree in Architecture OR Bachelors Degree in Architecture; AND First Class Masters Degree in Architecture.

B. Only candidates registered with Council of Architecture (COA) under the provisions of the Architects Act, 1972 shall be eligible

C. Work Experience (Excluding time period for acquisition of PG/ Ph.D. qualifications): 01 year Teaching Experience as regular/visiting faculty of Architecture or related field.

D. Those possessing Masters Degree shall be preferred.

Salary: Rs. 30,000/- per month (consolidated) for B.Arch degree holders

Rs. 40,000/- per month (consolidated) for M.Arch degree holders

1. Seminar Presentation: Department of Architecture & Landscape Design: 9:30 A.M.

2. Interview: Vice Chancellors Office, SMVDU Campus: 2:30 P.M.

Candidates interested in attending Walk-in-Interview may bring their complete CV/Resume /Bio-data along with Qualification & experience certificates in original certificates and a self attested photocopy of each document with two passport size colour photographs on the aforesaid date & time.
