IIT Jammu invites applications from well qualified Indian Nationals having passion for teaching and research and who are already employed at Central Educational Institutes (CEIs) in India for faculty positions on deputation basis at the level of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor (Grade I) in the following disciplines:

Chemical Engg., Chemistry, Civil Engg., Computer Science & Engg., Electrical Engg., Humanities & Social Science, Material Science & Engg., Mathematics Mechanical Engineering and Physics.

This is a rolling standing advertisement and there is no last date as such. The applications received through IIT Jammu online portal shall only be considered. Usually all the applications shall get processed as soon as they are submitted at the portal. However, the applications received by the 15th May, 2018 will be considered in the present round of selection process. All the applications received after 15th May, 2018 shall be considered in the next round of scrutiny and selection.

Maximum age up to 60 years of age.
(b)
The appointment of faculty on deputation shall be governed by MHRD guidelines for mobility of faculty to the newly established Central Educational Institutes (CEIs).
