Applications are invited from eligible persons for the post of Senior Investigator for the Department of Health Research funded project, Spatio-temporal epidemiology of Chronic Respiratory Illnesses in Urban Indian Settlements (STEPCRUISE).

Essential qualification: Bachelors degree in Medical Sciences or Masters degree in biological/physical/social sciences from a recognized university.

Experience: Candidate should have experience of conductingat least one community based survey on health topic in urban setting.

Job responsibility: Conducting and supervising a community based survey of general population for screening of Chronic Respiratory Illnesses in Delhi and Ludhiana. Management of survey data and overall supervision of project work.Job includes 80% field work and 20% office work. Majority of work will be in Delhi.

Duration: 18 months (without extension) from the date of appointment.

Emoluments: Consolidated Rs. 27,800/- per month
