Qualification	:	An academic/scholar of outstanding track record in the designated areas of studies.
Age	:	55-70 years
Scale of pay	:	Consolidated Rs. 1,00,000 per month.
Period of appointment	:	As approved by the UGC (amended from to time)
Duration of the Chair	:	Maximum of 5 years or until the incumbent attains the age of 70 years whichever is earlier and not exceeding 70 years of age.

The details with regard to the theme of the Chair, functions and others terms & conditions are admissible as per UGC guidelines, Central Universities Act, 2009 (amended from time to time), University Ordinance, etc.

The desirous applicants may report for Walk-in-Interview along with their original documents, experience certificates etc., one photocopy of self-attested documents, CV/Bio-data and two self attested photographs.

The application form, complete in all respects must be submitted before the Walk-in-Interview along with a Demand Draft of Rs 1500/- (fee exempted for candidates belonging to SC, ST and Persons with Disabilities and those who have already applied) from any National/Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Central University of Jammu payable at Jammu,
