/ Advertisement for a JRF position Applications are invited for one (01) purely temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the ICMR sponsored project entitled An Assessment of Conflict as A Social Determinant of Health in The North-East Region of India, under the Principal Investigator Ms. Veda Yumnam, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work, Tezpur University, Tezpur, Napaam -784028, Assam. Essential Qualifications: M.A. in any field of Social Sciences from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate with NET/JRF conducted by UGC/ICMR. Relaxation of 5% marks to the eligible candidates will be given as per the Govt. of India rules.

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/-(Rupees twenty five thousand) only + admissible HRA per month.

Duration: One (01) year, which may be extended up to eighteen (18) months or till completion of the project depending on status of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.

Age Limit: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules.

Shortlisted candidates have to be appeared before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10^th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate (if any), certificates of NET/JRF or similar examination qualifications, any other testimonials and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV).

N.B. (1) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
