Applications for Project Positions

Applications are invited for the temporary positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/ Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/Research Associate (RA) in the CSIR sponsored Research Project

entitled A Multiwavelength Study of Active Galactic Nuclei and X-Ray Sources under Dr.

Rupjyoti Gogoi, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Tezpur University.

Essential qualification : For JRF, Possessing M.Sc Degree in Physics with 60% marks and passing NET/GATE. For SRF, M.Sc Degree in Physics with 60% marks and passing NET/GATE with at least 2 years of research experience. For RA, Ph.D Degree in Physics.

Remuneration : For JRF, Rs. 12,000/-(Rupees Twelve Thousand) only per month. For SRF, Rs. 14,000/-(Rupees Fourteen Thousand) only per month. For RA, Rs. 36,000/-(Rupees Thirty Six Thousand) only per month.

Duration : Three (03) years or till completion of the project or until further order, whichever is earlier.

Age : Candidate should not be more than 28 years for JRF/32 Years for SRF/ Preferably below 40 Years for RA as on the last date of receipt of application. The upper age limit may be relaxed as per the Government of India Rules.

N.B : No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.

At the time of interview, the candidates have to bring with them the original documents from 10th standard onwards along with self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate, certificates of NET/GATE, any other testimonials and a copy of recent curriculum vitae (CV).
